HR Technology Advisors Appoints New Vice President of Broker Services
New Position Expands Insight and Understanding of Employee Benefits Brokers Needs
Franklin, MA, September 4, 2008 - HR Technology Advisors, LLC (HRT), a national, independent human resources & benefits technology brokerage and consulting firm, announces the appointment of Steve Cassidy as new Vice President of Broker Services.
Through his knowledge of the employee benefit business and management experience, he will lead the delivery of quality services and support to HRT Broker Partners firms. In addition to overseeing some key internal operations, he will be responsible for working closely with management and producers at partner firms to ensure that they get the most out of their HRT relationship.
“Steve has stepped into this new role at a most opportune time for both our company and our clients,” said Joe Markland, Principal, HRT. “Steve’s experience on both the insurance carrier side and as an employee benefit broker gives him valuable insight into the business requirements of our current and prospective clients, allowing us to expand our business offering to meet those needs.”
“I believe the surge in demand for human resources and benefits technology by employers is a huge opportunity for employee benefit brokers to bring more value to their customers,” says Cassidy. “We can bring the same approach to HR and benefits technology that employee benefit brokers bring to health and welfare plans by providing knowledge of the market, product options, and objective advice.”
Over the course of his more than 20-year career representing and managing sales offices for companies like UNUM, Sun Life, Allmerica, and Canada Life, Mr. Cassidy has worked with hundreds of benefit advisors in the mid-west and New England. Just prior to joining HRT in December of 2007, he spent 2 years marketing the brokerage and consulting services at a local Massachusetts firm.
